Pengembangan Kapasitas Perempuan Henda Untuk Terampil Public Speaking

Keterampilan berbicara di depan umum menjadi perihal penting dalam masyarakat dewasa ini. Namun bagi perempuan ini menjadi sebuah tantangan, termasuk perempuan di Desa Henda, Kecamatan Jabiren Raya, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau, Kalimantan Tengah. Kurang percaya diri dalam berbicara di depan umum, kesempatan untuk menyampaikan gagasan dan ide yang minim, serta tidak adanya pendidikan public speaking yang diajarkan semasa sekolah menjadi penyebabnya. Oleh karena itu, program pengembangan kapasitas dirancang khusus memberdayakan perempuan Henda dalam berbicara di depan umum dan membekali mereka dengan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mengekspresikan ide-ide mereka secara efektif dan terlibat pengambilan keputusan. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan sosialisasi dan role playing dengan melibatkan partisipasi aktif khalayak sasaran. Berlandaskan pada kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, khalayak sasaran tersadarkan bahwa dengan berpartisipasi akan berdampak pada banyak hal, mereka memahami bahwa berbicara di depan umum adalah proses yang berkelanjutan karena perlu disertai dengan latihan dan pengalaman. Dengan mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum yang dilaksanakan, tim pengabdi tidak hanya memberdayakan perempuan tetapi juga menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih inklusif dan adil. Melalui berbicara di depan umum, perempuan Desa Henda dapat secara efektif mematahkan stereotip masyarakat, mengadvokasi hak-hak mereka, dan berbagi perspektif dan pengalaman yang perempuan alami
