Publication Ethics
The Code of Ethics Statement is based on the Scientific Publication of LIPI Regulation No. 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications and Cope, which upholds 3 ethics in publications, namely: (1) Neutrality, clear of conflicts of interest in the processing of publications; (2) Fairness, giving authors the right to claim their papers; and (3) Honesty, clear of duplication, fabrication, forgery, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.
Publisher
- All accepted articles will be checked by at least one reviewer who is an expert in the article's field using the double blind review method.
- Relevance, originality, contribution to knowledge, readability, and language are factors that are taken into account in the review.
- Decisions that may be given include articles accepted, accepted with minor or major revisions, or rejected.
- Rejected articles will not be reviewed.
- No scientific article may be included in more than one publication.
Editor
- The editor is authorized to accept or reject the submitted articles.
- Editors are responsible for the content and quality of publications.
- Editors should always consider the needs of writers and readers when trying to improve publications.
- Editors must ensure the quality of the paper and the integrity of the academic record.
- Editors must have a clear picture of the sources of research funding.
- Editor's decision is based on originality, relevance of the scope of the article, novelty, contribution to science.
- Editors may not change decisions or reverse existing ones from previous editors without serious reason.
- The editor must hide the identity of the reviewer.
- Editors must ensure that all research material they publish complies with internationally accepted ethical guidelines.
- Editors must act if they suspect an error, whether a paper has been published or not, and make all reasonable efforts to persist in obtaining a resolution to the problem.
- Editors must not reject papers based on suspicion; they must have proof of error.
- Editors should not allow conflicts of interest between staff, authors, and reviewers.
Author
- Authors must certify that their manuscript is plagiarism-free work.
- Authors must certify that the previous manuscript has not been published elsewhere.
- Authors must state that the manuscript is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- The author must improve the article according to the comments from the reviewer.
- Authors must participate in the peer review process.
- The author is obligated to provide a recall or error correction.
- All of the authors mentioned in this paper should significantly contribute to the research.
- The author must certify that all the data in this paper is real and authentic.
- The author must notify the editor of any conflict of interest.
- Authors must identify all sources used in the creation of their manuscript.
- Authors must report any errors they find in published publications to the editor.
Reviewer
- Reviewers must keep all information from articles confidential and treat them as privileged information.
- Reviewers should review articles according to their area of expertise
- Reviews should be conducted objectively, without personal criticism of the author.
- Reviewers must express their views clearly and with strong and relevant supporting arguments.
- Reviewers should identify published articles with relevant articles under review that have not been cited by the authors.
- Reviewers may contact the editor if they find or suspect that there is substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under review and other published articles.
- Reviewers may not review manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest resulting from a competitive, collaborative, or other relationship or connection with any of the authors, companies, or institutions to which the paper is linked.
- Reviewers must provide recommendations on the results of article reviews.
