Optimalisasi Edukasi dan Penguatan Komitmen Sekolah dalam Implementasi Kawasan Tanpa Rokok di SMPN 3 Kalipuro

Perilaku merokok pada remaja sekolah menengah pertama masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya pemahaman tentang dampak rokok serta pengaruh lingkungan sosial yang cenderung menormalisasi perilaku tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan membentuk sikap penolakan terhadap perilaku merokok pada siswa di SMPN 3 Kalipuro. Program dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan edukatif interaktif yang meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi partisipatif dan demonstrasi sederhana tentang dampak merokok terhadap kesehatan. Evaluasi kuantitatif dilakukan menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test terstruktur terhadap 48 siswa, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji paired t-test untuk menilai signifikansi perubahan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan dari 74,47 menjadi 84,47 dengan nilai p = 0,0004 (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa program sosialisasi memberikan dampak yang bermakna secara statistik terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya merokok. Program ini juga didukung dengan penguatan komitmen sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang bebas asap rokok melalui media edukasi visual. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi berbasis edukasi sekolah dapat berkontribusi dalam upaya pencegahan perilaku merokok pada remaja serta mendukung pembentukan perilaku hidup sehat secara berkelanjutan.
