Abstract

Banjir yang dipicu oleh fenomena Siklon Tropis Senyar di Desa Seuneubok Pidie, Kecamatan Manyak Payed, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang menyebabkan terganggunya akses masyarakat terhadap air bersih dan sanitasi sehingga meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penyakit berbasis lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akses air bersih serta mendukung penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat melalui penyediaan tandon air komunal dan distribusi Hygiene kits. Pelaksanaan meliputi survei dan identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat, sosialisasi program kepada masyarakat dan aparatur desa, pengadaan serta pemasangan tandon air komunal, distribusi Hygiene kits, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi berkala. Survei dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi sumber air bersih, tingkat kerusakan akibat banjir, dan menentukan lokasi strategis pemasangan tandon air. Sosialisasi bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam mendukung keberhasilan program. Tahap implementasi menghasilkan tersedianya sarana penyediaan air bersih yang lebih aman dan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat, disertai pembagian perlengkapan kebersihan untuk mendukung praktik higiene pada masa pascabanjir. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan dan interaksi langsung dengan masyarakat guna memastikan fasilitas dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Program ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat terdampak banjir, meningkatkan akses terhadap air bersih, serta mendukung upaya pencegahan penyakit berbasis lingkungan melalui penguatan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat.
