Pemberdayaan Pemuda GKI Diaspora Kotaraja dalam Pengembangan Literasi Statistika Spasial berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis

Pemuda GKI Diaspora Kotaraja memiliki akses yang cukup baik terhadap teknologi digital, namun pemanfaatannya masih didominasi untuk komunikasi dan media sosial sehingga kemampuan dalam mengolah, menganalisis, dan memanfaatkan data untuk mendukung kegiatan pelayanan maupun pengembangan komunitas masih terbatas. Selain itu, pengetahuan mengenai data spasial dan pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Geografis belum dimiliki oleh sebagian besar peserta. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi statistika spasial pemuda melalui pelatihan berbasis data lokal Kota Jayapura. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan Community Based Development yang dipadukan dengan metode pelatihan partisipatif dan pendampingan berbasis praktik. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan peserta, penyusunan modul pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan literasi statistika spasial, serta pendampingan dalam pengolahan dan visualisasi data. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep statistika, data spasial, dan penggunaan Sistem Informasi Geografis. Rata-rata pemahaman peserta meningkat dari 41,2% sebelum pelatihan menjadi 80,8% setelah pelatihan. Peserta juga berhasil menghasilkan peta tematik pendidikan, peta kondisi sosial wilayah, infografis spasial, dan ringkasan analisis wilayah berbasis data. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas peserta dalam memanfaatkan data sebagai dasar perencanaan program komunitas serta mendorong terbentuknya kelompok pemuda pengelola data spasial sebagai upaya keberlanjutan program.
